About Me

Hi, I'm your friendly neighborhood tutor. My name is Alexander. I've been a professional tutor for nearly a decade. I'm the youngest of four. Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, I always dreamed of going to college. After graduating top of my class from New York University, I found my passion helping others get into the college of their dreams.

As a tutor, I've worked at several companies, including Compass Education, The Princeton Review, Varsity Tutors, and more. I've also helped several companies write and edit their test prep material. I found that most companies weren't asking what the most efficient, "best value for your money" way to tutor was.

That's why I founded Alexander Charles Tutoring. I leveraged my experience tutoring and designing tutoring programs to find the best way to serve working families. My approach combines a self-study approach with the professional expertise I provide as a tutor, in person or live online.
